Nerve Gas Used by Putin Against Ukraine Opens Terrifying Global Door. JKI Exclusive!
Nerve gas! The very expression sends shudders up most people's spines, bringing up such awful memories as the Aum Shinrykyo's Tokyo subway sarin attack, which was but one of largely unreported many nerve gas/agent attacks made by the cult. And now, in order to capture the symbolically and strategically vital (last Ukraine controlled enclave in illegal DPR, Donetsk People's Republic) New Terminal at Donetsk Airport, and to support combat ops near the Russia-Ukraine border in two towns yet unnamed, Putin has employed not merely several thousand Russian troops, but aerosolized nerve agent delivered by his very best–Spetsnaz–Russian Special Forces. Though certain details are being tightly held, JKI's highly sensitive military-intelligence sources (including a retired four-star still doing operational things) are deeply concerned over both Russian nerve gas/agent use in Ukraine, which takes Putin's invasion into an even more horrifying direction, and the broader terrifying implications of what happens globally if this dire situation isn't addressed promptly, decisively and so resoundingly no other nation or group ever tries it again.
John Kettler Noticed Nerve Gas!
JKI wholly shares these concerns after first learning of this attack through its own John Kettler. A wargamer since age 12, he noticed on his favorite wargame bulletin board what someone said in a quote referring to respiratory problems and muscle spasms among no less than 80 Ukrainian soldiers who'd fought at the Donetsk Airport (New Terminal), the focus of over six months of vicious combat. This immediately set off alarm bells in his head, for what the quote described was the textbook description of nerve gas/agent poisoning symptoms. He knew this because part of his former professional work as a military analyst required him to be knowledgeable in gorge raising NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) warfare issues. When he read the gut churning paragraph in the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine, dated January 21, 2015, he knew he was right. And wished he wasn't.
“A Ukrainian soldier in a hospital in government-controlled Konstantinovka (56km north of Donetsk) told the SMM that he was being treated for injuries sustained at the Donetsk airport on 19 January. He said 80 Ukrainian soldiers in total had suffered the same injuries, manifested in uncontrollable muscle spasms, vomiting and difficult breathing. Some, he said, had become unconscious. Eleven of the soldiers had been transferred to a hospital in Dnepropetrovsk, he said.”
Russian Nerve Gas Use Confirmed and Detailed by US Insider Contacts
Not-for-attribution sources confirmed his worst fears, while deliberately withholding the name the US assigned to the chemical weapon and refusing to disclose its nature. Those sources provided certain specifics over and above what John Kettler had already learned: 1) the nerve gas/agent was delivered from aerosol cans employed by 2) Russian Spetsnaz assaulting the building who 3) were not wearing gas masks, which means 4) and John Kettler anticipated this answer, they took some sort of antidote before the attack, therefore didn't need to be masked. He was also informed this use of the aerosolized nerve gas/agent was key to the seizure of the New Terminal, despite the fanatical defense of the “Cyborgs,” Ukrainian troops derisively named that by Putin's proxy fighters, the so-called pro-Russian separatists, and celebrated by the Ukrainians for their steel courage and unwavering resistance. Men can fight men, but unprotected men can't fight when they can't breathe!

Significance of Putin's Nerve Gas Use?
By using a WMD, main force Russian combat troops and Spetsnaz against one high profile target in particular, Putin is, in JKI's estimation, at once revealing both desperation and is signaling. His proxy fighters, coupled with a stout, but unacknowledged, interlarding of Russian troops and combat power, haven't been able to stand up to the revitalized, angry and now better equipped Ukrainian forces, so to avoid their embarrassing defeat, Putin has, while loudly denying it in every way, been putting still more combat troops, armor, artillery and rocket launchers across the border and into Ukraine. Here, for example, is a Russian convoy of 122 mm Grad MRLs (Multiple Rocket Launchers), with each truck's 40 tube launcher hidden under canvas.
Or how about an armored column with no less than a Tank Company and a Motor Rifle Battalion deep inside Ukraine, a column in which the vehicles all have their lettering in Russian, not Ukrainian; in which the soldiers are wearing the latest Russian camouflage uniforms and, in which the T-72BM tanks in the column are exclusive to the Russian Army?
He seems to be metering out support to his proxy fighters while loudly proclaiming there are no Russian troops in Ukraine. He is signaling, for all with eyes to see and ears to hear, that he is willing to go to enormous lengths to protect and “legitimize” his ongoing efforts to excise eastern Ukraine from Ukraine. His apparent objective? To force Ukraine back to the negotiating table, where following planned high profile victories, including the much desired fall of Mariupol, one of Ukraine's last major ports and key to holding the Crimea, he hopes to force Ukraine to recognize what he ripped bodily from her, by cunning, rape and axe blows alike, as now being his. Which means that attacking it will be exactly the same as attacking Russia. This is precisely the current situation in Crimea.
Putin is in big trouble and needs Russian domestic support and a win abroad. The combination of sanctions, collapsed oil prices and massive export of natural gas from the US to Europe, removing much of his energy leverage cum blackmail there, has not only cost Russia's economy dearly but is hitting him hard–in the wallet. This article goes into great detail, but the richer picture emerges here. Putin's massive, largely hidden fortune is tied to the fate of Gazprom, likewise those of his fellow Mafiya dons. Yes, Putin is not merely an ex-KGB officer but a key member of the Mafiya, the ruthless, ultra vicious Russian Mob. This is not only the picture which has gradually emerged in the world of open source research and investigation, but this is what JKI's insider sources are saying. Russia is helmed by a mobster, running the country for the benefit of himself and his fellow mobsters. Is it any wonder he's an international thug? Viewed with the right understanding, Ukraine is feeling the grave consequences (destabilization, covert and near-open armed invasion) of failing to pay “protection” (marching to Putin's tune regarding the economy, the EU, NATO and other hot topics). An international thug who has used and is using WMDs to achieve his ends!
It is essential that this insanity be both massively publicized and punished in every feasible way. If it is not, there are plenty of other would-be malefactors, who also have chemical weapons at their disposal, who would now feel that if Russia got away with using WMDs, so can they. A single droplet of nerve gas/agent VX the size of a pinhead absorbed through your skin will cause agonizing death. Bug spray for people! And VX isn't the worst.
